I'm back to blogging!

Hi everybody! I'm sure I don't have one reader to my name anymore, but I am SO very excited to be back to blogging. We have had so much going on in our lives, and I could kick myself for not documenting everything over the past 1.5 years! Cody and I have made a pack to keep this blog alive, with both of us posting frequently. It needs some major cosmetic work, and I need to find someone to help me revamp, but this will work for now.

Since we spoke last Cody and I have done some of the following in no particular order:

-Vacationed to Costa Rica with my family

-Annual trip to the NC beach with Cody's dad

-Girls road trip to Destin for a wedding

-Friends trip to Mexico

-River trip with the Griffith gang

-Celebrated our 25th & 26th birthdays

-Celebrated out 1 year anniversary in California

-Celebrated our two year anniversary in Austin

-Had a friends reunion in Austin

-I had surgery

-Became pregnant

-Found out it was a boy

-Had amazing baby showers

-Made lots of trips to Houston

-Went to lots of fun concerts and shows

-Made it through 3 days of ACL

-Moved out of Round Rock into our town house in Austin

-Had many wonderful times with our small group from church

-I got a new job

-I lost a new job

-I sulked for a while about it

-Started preparing for the baby

Those are some of the highlights which bring us to today, less than one month from the arrival of our little Maxwell Stone Girod. We are beyond excited and ready to meet the little guy. He is such as answer to prayer, and I hope these next few weeks fly by. On the other hand we are really trying to soak up all the time we can with one another. I feel beyond blessed to have such an amazing husband who is so much fun, and who I love spending my time with! Everything we do together from sitting at home on the couch, to going on vacation is a blast and I know I am going to miss the simplicity of "us," however, I know the change of bringing a baby into the picture will be so wonderful that we probably won't even notice.

Again, I don't even know where to start, so I will just post a few pictures soon from the past? Ha! I won't post the past 18 months, but just some fun highlights to come!
