Update!

Hi All,

So I just got back from the doctor a couple of hours ago, and unless I go into labor on my own (fingers crossed) I will be checking in on Sunday night for a MONDAY induction! I can't believe it. I feel somewhat uneasy about the idea of inducing, but ooooh my goodness it's so soon. If you are reading this, say a little prayer that I go into labor on my own OR that I progress a good amount between now and Monday, so on induction day I will be good and ready!

My doctor did some formula with the percent effacement and dilation, and it gives you the percentage that your induction could result in a c-section. You want to be at a 8 (meaning little to no change at all) and I was currently at a 5 today. I did go from 20% effaced Thursday to 60% today so hopefully things are moving quickly :) There is still a really good change that no

c-section will occur even if I were induced today, but my doctor is super strict, and not prone to induction unless you are really ready which is why I think she shared all of this with me.

I do totally trust her, and am sooo glad induction means I will actually get my doctor, and my second favorite doctor (the one I had while mine was on maternity leave) is on call the day of the induction...yippee.

Soooo prayers all around that the blood pressure issue stays under control this week, the baby stays healthy, and I make it though my week on the couch! BABY SOOOO SOON!! April 25th b-day for Max! This is really so hilarious to me-I am having a baby. Can you believe it? I really can't!
