The Waiting Game.....

I think these last 2 weeks might be the loooongest of the entire pregnancy. Not only do I feel large and in charge, but I have everything done, and am just waiting!

**house & carpets cleaned-CHECK

**bags packed-CHECK

**laundry done-CHECK

**nursery done-CHECK

**baby clothes washed and put away-CHECK

**pack and play/bouncer/swing set up-CHECK

**diapers/wipes/changing accessories sitting on changing table-CHECK

**camera & video camera charged-CHECK

**all baby bath products ready in his bathroom-CHECK

Am I forgetting anything else? Do any mom out there have any ideas/advice to make the house to hospital and hospital back home transition smooth? Any MUST haves for the hospital for mom, dad or baby??

The problem about being ready early is that there is still time for the house to get dirty again, laundry to pile up, dishes get dirty ect. especially because I am not supposed to get off the couch. I'm sure I still have at least 2 weeks left so I have no idea why I feel like big day could be here any minute. I honestly would like the baby to stay in as long as possible because I want him to be ready for the world, but the waiting is becoming challenging.

I'm just SOOOOO excited. I keep stalking people's blogs back to when they delivered their babies so I can get an idea of what to expect. Oh my goodness, this is going to be do fun!

Okay, I am going to have dinner. Codel and all of his thoughtfulness is making dinner. He just looked at me and said in a goofy voice "Codel you've got some dishes to do tonight young man" as if we were talking to himself. He knows I like to go to bed with no loose ends JUST in case we leave in the middle of the night. I'm going to look back and laugh when I go into labor the one day that nothing is done...oh well.
