2 Months!

I am a couple weeks behind in posting Maxwell's 2 month blog post. Opps! I did however take pictures which I will make sure and do every month with Max in his chair with his elephant. Next month, and for the rest of his first year he will have the cutest little stickers from http://pickysticky.com/ that I can put on his onsies to display each month! My mother in law sent me a text this morning that they are on their way to our house :) Thanks Cheryl.

Anyway, I have a super long post about Father's Day that is also saved as a draft that needs to be posted. I am struggling to get blogs out their because my little baby loves being held, which makes it difficult for his mom to get too much done on the computer. Okay, here is what Max is up to at 2 months.

Stats:

Weight: 14.15 lbs (this was actually at 9.5 weeks, but close enough)
Lenght: 24 3/8 inches

He Loves:

*to sing
*smile and giggle
*shriek in delight
*snuggle, snuggle, snuggle
*to eat
*to sleep (sometimes)
*music
*tummytime (sometimes)

We went though a rough patch with sleeping, and then it got much, much better. For about 3 weeks straight he slept for 7 hour stretches at night from about 9-4 or 10-5. Unfortunately, the past couple of nights he has been waking up at 3:30 to eat. Not sure what that's about. He is still a little grunter, but it is getting better. He is totally off all reflux medicine which is great, and I am seeing no difference or increased discomfort from what we thought might be reflux. Yay for no medicine because I hated to give it to him!

Other than that we are just loving life. I am feeling more and more rested even if I am only getting about 5 hours at a time, and starting to get out and about all the time. We are praying for some friends with babies so I can form some relationships. I have a few girlfriends here with kids, so we need to make a better effort to get together. The problem is that their kids are all older so their schedules are different. Either way, I need to stop making excuses and get out there and get a life haha! I have been holed up in my house quite a bit, or in Houston. It's time to embrace Austin.
