Kid's Say the Darndest Things...

So I have become a substitute teacher at Westbury Christian School while I am deciding where my life will take me. I was recently the substitute in a high school Chemistry and Physics class and learned how hilarious that age is. I decided to record a little conversation that went on during my day of being their teacher for your reading pleasure. I hope you find this as funny as I did!

1. Student #1: "Ms. B. Freede can I ask you a questions?" (yes he said B. Freede)

Me: "Sure, what's your questions?"

Student #1: "Were you a cheerleader in the 80's?"

Student #2: "She wasn't in highschool in the 80's stupid, you're just thinking that because of her 80's hairstyle."

Student #3: "No thats totally a 70's hairstyle!"

Student #4: "Don't worry about them Ms. Freede, I think you are still in your prime."

Anyway, I though that little interaction was pretty humerous. As many of you know I taught Speech class during my assistantship at ACU, and thought substitute teaching might give me some insight into whether or not I might also enjoy teaching at the high school level.

I'm not sure if teaching is my calling or not, but I know I would be constantly entertained if I taught high school!
