The Maze & Maize

This portion of the post is dedicated to my mom and sister :)

So my Dad and I went on a camping weekend, just the two of us, and it was AWESOME! Kayla and my mom actually had a little girls trip planned in Lubbock the same weekend! When we arrived home from our camping excursion we realized the shocking resemblance of the two trips! Below are a few photos of the activities that took place at Brazos Bend State Park. Please refer to Kayla's blog to see the trip similarities!

One of the weekend activities was a firedwood maze. Not to be confused with the corn maize in Lubbock. This is me ready to tackle the challenge! I sure do want that prize at the end of the maze! About an hour into the task. I was getting a little bit frustrated by this point! Who knew a maze could be so challenging!
Stuck between a rock and a hard place here! I just CANT figure it out!
Trucking right along, pumpkin in sight (this photo should be before the previous photo).
Nightfall has approached, and at this point I'm just not sure I can find my way out. The state park provided complimentary lanterns for emergency situations like mine.
Exhausted, but the end is in sight. If I can JUST reach that pumpkin......
After a LONG day of hard work, determination, willpower, and skill, I still fall short just before the prize in mine!

My little Bethany you are hysterical!!! What a fun trip for you and your daddy. How much longer are you going to be in Houston? I am sure excited about your wedding. I already bought Annie's dress. :)
