Whoa! I cannot believe this child is 5 months old. This means next month he will be 6 months, and then he will just coast right along to his 1st birthday. I mean, I am PUMPED to throw him a birthday bash, but this just doesn't feel right. He has been changing before our eyes these past couple of weeks, and morphing into a little BOY! There have been a lot of new "firsts" this month that I am proud to share :)
At five months Max is....
-Rolling over both directions
-Sitting up (for the most part)
-Sitting in his highchair
-Eating solids. His favorites so far are bananas and sweet potatoes
-Laughing up a storm
-I swear he said "hi" but Cody is not convinced!
-Sleeping close to 12 hours a night, with the occasional wake up ranging from 5 minutes to 45 minutes (we are right in the middle of sleep training to work out that kink)
-Learning to put himself to sleep which is AMAZING because as much as I love to rock him, I was getting stuck holding him for hours and knowing good and well I was creating a little monster.
-Loves his little jump-a-roo play center (not too sure what those are called)
-Wearing mostly 9 month clothes, but some 6 month still fit him
-Had his first cold this month with was the saddest thing ever
-Smiles all the time
-Still loves to watch Praise Baby before bed
Overall such a pleasant little guy, and we love him more and more every day. Each month Cody will tell me, "I want him to stay just like this forever".

Cutest 5 month old EVER!!! He really has changed so much in the last couple of weeks. Love him so much. MiMi
seriously, the picture of him laying on his chair with his hands behind his head is cracking me up! He is like " yeah, this is the life" cute boy :)
